Appearances Are Important
| Musique Nonstop is extremely aware that they are working in a business of appearances, and that most guests' initial evaluation of an entertainer is very important; this is the reason why Astrid goes to great lengths to insure a good first impression.
While entertaining, the standard attire for Astrid is a tuxedo, or black women's formal attire. If formal attire is inappropriate for your event, you may request semi-formal or casual attire. Advertising is not something Musique Nonstop does at events; signs or banners are never displayed, and promotional announcements are never made. A small tray of business cards is sometimes made available for guests, and is usually placed on one of the speakers. Astrid believes that a satisfied customer is the best form of advertisement; she works hard to make sure each client they entertain for is happy with the service they receive and is willing to refer Musique Nonstop to their friends. If guests arrive at an event and see that the entertainment is still setting up, in their eyes the entertainment is late. Musique Nonstop's policy is that all equipment will be set-up before the first guest arrives--she wants to avoid even the appearance of being late. The sound systems that Astrid uses were custom designed by Musique Nonstop. All equipment is enclosed in a compact podium that will compliment any setting; the only wires you will see are the two speaker cables and the main power cord. Each podium contains commercial grade state-of-the-art equipment and has built in back-up. Astrid also uses a laptop computer so she can instantly select and play your requests. Musique Nonstop is capable of handling an event with as many as 2000 guests, but can "tone it down" for events that are more intimate. Smaller "remote" sound systems, which can be controlled by either the main system or operated independently, are also available for wedding ceremonies and foyer pre-function gatherings. And, for events where electricity is not available, a system is available that has it's own power source. |
